Actor John Goodman played Roseanne Barr's TV husband, Dan Conner, from 1988 to 1997. The part earned him seven Emmy Award nominations. "[Roseanne] could take a script and just get all the baloney out of it, and make it really pay off and find the funny stuff," he says. "It was a great time."
