Meet the voice behind the furry red monster! Holly and Rodney talk to master puppeteer Kevin Clash, who produces the voice of the popular Sesame Street character Elmo, about his career and what being a puppeteer has meant to him.
Kevin says he's lucky to have a job where he can relate to children. "To have an occupation like this—it's the best because the kids come up to Elmo and tell me everything, things their parents don't want them to say," Kevin says. "But they are so in tune that they just go off." Kevin says he's thrilled with the opportunities that come along with playing Elmo. "I think one thing that has been unbelievable for me is that I have gone around the world because of this little red monster, and I tell you, he just connects with everybody."
