Gayle King

Gayle talks with Abigail Jones and Marissa Miley, co-authors of Restless Virgins: Love, Sex, and Survival at a New England Prep School, about the sexual and cultural mores of today's teens. Restless Vrigins follows seven students—three guys and four girls—through their senior year at Milton Academy, a prep school near Boston, Massachusetts.

Both graduates of Milton Academy themselves, Abigail and Marissa say their book tells the real-life stories of current students at the school, offering a slice of teenage life and teen culture today. "[Restless Virgins] is not claiming to say, 'This is what life is like for every girl and guy in America,'—it's impossible to do that," Abigail says. "What we are saying is, 'Here is a window into it. This is what is very real for these girls and guys.'"
