Holly and Rodney welcome back Oprah's Big Give judge Malaak Compton-Rock! Malaak talks about the challenges and rewards of being involved on the show, which follows 10 contestants traveling around the country to change people's lives.

Malaak says Oprah's Big Give is beautiful because the contestants have to enlist the community around them to help make people's dreams come true. "It's reality as only Oprah Winfrey would do it," she says. Malaak also says judging the show was not without its challenges. "I would be lying if I said it was not difficult," she says. Malaak says she focused on contestants' ability to communicate with the people they were helping and on their sensitivity to the people's needs.

In addition, Malaak says she found it difficult to be away from her family for so long. With two kids, Malaak says she and her husband, actor Chris Rock, have their hands full. "Scheduling was the biggest thing because I was leaving the kids," Malaak says. "For me, that wasn't something that I had really done in their entire life, [so] it was difficult for them and difficult for me."

In honor of the premiere of the show, Malaak says she celebrated in style. She threw her own Oprah's Big Give premiere party, where she served Give-a-Tini's and watched the show with her loved ones. "Before I came up with the idea of having a Big Give party, I assumed I would be at home probably watching it in my pj's!" she says. "To watch it surrounded by good friends and family and children was just wonderful."
