Actor and comedian Denis Leary has a lot to say about American culture—and he's documented it all in his book Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid . Gayle talks with Denis about the book, which includes a special chapter dedicated to Oprah!

Denis says he had hoped to write a chapter about how Oprah influences American women too much. Instead, became a huge fan of Oprah and her company.

During his research of all things Oprah, Denis headed to Oprah.com to search for typical topics men are interested in. He says he was surprised to discover a wealth of information on male-friendly topics, such as penis health, sports legends and more. "I realized that this Oprah.com thing is so massive and there is an archive, and so I am going back and watching segments and episodes and pieces of segments, and I wasn't doing any writing for a couple of days. I was in Oprahland," he says.

Aside from his newfound love of all things Oprah, Denis also talks about his hit TV series Rescue Me and about growing up in a working-class Irish-American household.
