"Perfect color for French toast made from Challah!"—Oprah Oprah remembers Martin Richard, a master teacher who was taken away too soon in Monday's bombing, as well as all those affected by this tragedy.
It isn't all work, work, work on the set of Oprah's Next Chapter. Sometimes, you just need to take a break and enjoy a grass-fed beef hot dog.
This Sunday, Oprah sits down with The Bible's Emmy award-winning producer Mark Burnett; his wife, actress Roma Downey (Mother Mary); and actor Diogo Morgado (Jesus) to discuss the momentous television miniseries. During the shoot, Oprah took some time out to post photos of her guests on Instagram. Just had a great convo with@MarkBurneettTv @RealRomaDowney and @D_Morgado ("hot Jesus") about Bible Series phenom. 100 million have seen it. #nextchapter
Don't forget to tune in Sunday, April 14, at 9/8c for the all-new Oprah's Next Chapter. Roger Ebert is a name synonymous with film and excellence. He was the first critic in the game to win a Pulitzer Prize and bravely fought thyroid cancer for more than decade, all while writing his indispensable column to throngs of dedicated readers. Today, he passed away at the age of 70. Roger Ebert was no stranger to the Oprah Winfrey Show. In 2010, a Scottish company created a program that allowed Roger to "speak" with his own voice using hours of old episodes of Siskel & Ebert & The Movies and other programs he hosted. The Oprah Winfrey Show captured the first time the film critic and his wife Charlie Hammel-Smith heard his new voice. Oprah also turned to Roger for his Academy Award predictions, naturally wanting one of the most acute and polished opinions in the business. Roger was even one of the key forces behind Oprah's success. Today,we remember one of film's most brilliant luminaries and a dear friend, as Oprah tweeted: Oprah and Tyler Perry are so excited about Tyler's shows coming to OWN, they just had to get their alter-egos together to celebrate. Oprah dressed up as Sofia from "The Color Purple" and Tyler put on the familiar face of Madea to film a promotional parody for the upcoming shows Love Thy Neighbor and The Haves and Have Nots.
Check out Oprah and Tyler, or rather, Sofia and Madea, on site in Atlanta, then watch the hilarious video clip here. Get more behind-the-scenes photos, exclusive sneak peeks and information about upcoming Tyler Perry projects on OWN.Oprah put on a pair of skis to celebrate Easter Sunday. Check out the photo she posted to Twitter and Facebook, along with the comment, "Spring skiiing with my girls. Happy Easter Day!"
Whether it's a cold and gloomy March 21 in your hometown or just another balmy day, spring has truly arrived.
Oprah found the evidence right outside her window and shared it on Instagram, posting, "Spring has come to my front yard." We get it. The Harlem Shake has been done ... and done again. Nevertheless, the team at Harpo decided to bust a move for all to see on YouTube. See what Oprah thinks of Harpo's contribution to the web sensation. Advertisement
