Surrealist painter Salvador Dali checked in to the hotel for at least one month each year throughout the '40s, '50s and '60s. Now Restaurant le Dali (designed by Phillipe Starck) is filled with Daliesque décor, such as a chair with feet in the form of a woman's shoe, a lamp with drawers, and a telephone with attached lobster.
