The Trends: Full Skirt, Chunky Knit, Patent Leather, Tweed, Boots, Jersey
We all love to dress up for a weekend night out, but it's hard to hit the right note of fanciness. One happy strategy is to mix casual with opulent. A glamorous tiered full skirt (Kenzo, $968) is nudged toward the informal by a chunky knit top (Kenzo, $406), a bag that combines patent leather with herringbone tweed (Gap, $40), and riding boots (Etienne Aigner, $159). A marigold jersey tee (Rebecca Beeson, $95) picks up the skirt's colors and ties things together.
