On Wednesdays, a dozen fifth graders at Mark Bills Middle School in Peoria, Illinois, spend recess studying American Sign Language instead of hitting the jungle gym. Their mission: to better communicate with their deaf classmate, Rhemy Elsey. Give 'em a hand!
