The last competition Scott Hamilton's mother ever saw him skate in was, as he calls it, "a massive failure." It was the former Olympian's first year as a senior-level skater, and he suffered a humiliating defeat. Not long after, Scott's mother passed away from breast cancer. Watch as he recalls the morning she died and the resolution he made that fueled his successful skating career.
