The Blind Spot That Could Ruin Your Marriage

CC | tv-pg
It's not uncommon for married couples to have blind spots: seemingly harmless issues that can derail a relationship if you're not careful. One prime example, Pastor John Gray says, is thinking that you can maintain prenuptial friendships without any changes after marriage, especially friendships with members of the opposite sex. "One of the blind spots is assuming that your spouse may know what your expectation is," he says. "Some spouses are okay with platonic friendships of the opposite sex, and others are not."

Here, John explains why it's important to address the situation honestly with your partner—before it becomes "a very real point of contention later on."
