Why Tika Sumpter Almost Turned Down the Role of Candace Young

After working with actress Tika Sumpter in the film Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas, the director asked her to take on the role of Candace Young in his series Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots.
