Veronica Catches Melissa Drinking

Melissa was once willing to do whatever it took to stay on Veronica's good side. Now, with her father gone and nothing to lose, she's ready to prove to Veronica that she has no control over her. After downing a bottle of liquor, she waits in the kitchen for the wrath to come.

"Have you been drinking?" Veronica asks, holding the empty bottle. "You're pregnant and you've been drinking."

"Oh, please," Melissa scoffs. "I'm sure your mother drank with you, and see how you turned out?"

Melissa laughs, but Veronica is hardly amused. She snatches Melissa up by the arm and pulls her over to the kitchen sink, forcing her to vomit.

"If you think I'm going to let you do to this child what you did to me and Jeffery, you are sadly mistaken," Melissa seethes.

"And you, my dear, are mistaken if you think I will allow you to harm the only thing that I have to look forward to," Veronica says.
