Tyler Lepley Describes the Evolution of Benny Young

From the first season of The Haves and the Have Nots, fans have watched Benny grow into a strong, resilient man. "I think he's evolved tremendously, really," Tyler says.

One of Benny's best traits is his loyalty to his family. But with a sister like Candace, that's not always a good thing. "He's always going to be there for his sister, too, as much as she runs him through the dirt and the muck," Tyler says.

Benny may have fallen off the tracks a few times—ahem, his affair with Veronica—but he's always there for the people who matter most. "Benny's foundation is his family," Tyler says. "So whether it's Hanna or it's Candace, he's always going to come back and love them from the bottom of his heart."
