The Haves and the Have Nots is filled with twists and turns that only one man could dream up. Here, the cast discusses what surprises them most about working on the hit show with Tyler Perry.

"The thing that's so surprising about this show is how Tyler continues to weave storylines together," John Schneider (Jim) says.

"Everything surprises me," Tika Sumpter (Candace) laughs. "Tyler Perry has me definitely in awe of what's in his brain."

Crystal Fox (Hanna) sums it up perfectly. "The craziness of Tyler Perry's mind," she says, shaking her head. "There's a lot of people in there."
