Hanna Meets a New Man

Katheryn has been trying to set Hanna up with Derrick, the attractive handyman who works on her properties. After giving Derrick the cold shoulder, Hanna finally grants him the chance to show her the real Derrick—and Hanna likes what she sees. She learns that Derrick is a widower who lost his wife to cancer, and that he's a deacon at his church.

"Derrick, I'm sorry," Hanna says.

"For what?" he asks.

"Kind of brushing you off. And I'm sorry to say I kind of prejudged you."

Hanna admits that Derrick came off so strongly that she thought he was just a dog on the prowl.

Derrick laughs and explains why he came off as desperate. "It's not that I'm on the prowl," he says candidly. "I'm lonely."
