David Tries to Make Peace with Veronica

David stops by Veronica's home with the hopes of calling a truce with his malicious ex-wife. After the two exchange small talk, Veronica is curious to know what David's intentions are.

David explains that he just wants to take her to dinner and apologizes for all of the pain he's caused her. Veronica grows suspicious and immediately questions David. Though David claims he's telling the truth, Veronica isn't buying it and kicks him out.
