A New Pawn in the Game

Veronica and David's fight over their son has begun anew. With Amanda's suicide in mind, David worries Jeffery may harm himself if he's not allowed to be who he is, but Veronica is unwavering in her insistence that he be straight. In what David thinks is a winning move, he tells his wife that he is going to call Melissa, the young woman Veronica has set Jeffery up with, and tell her that his son is gay. Veronica calls David on his threat and phones the young woman herself. David gets straight to the point, telling Melissa that she will need to find someone else, but Melissa's response surprises him. Just what does Veronica have over the young woman?
