Candace has threatened to pay a visit to Jim at the Cryer house after learning of Amanda's death, and Maggie and David rush in to avoid disaster. When David's attempts to change Candace's mind prove ineffective, Maggie steps in with her negotiating skills—and her vast network of contacts—to try to entice her into a quid pro quo.
