Trevor Noah: Our Character Shouldn't Change Based on Who's in Power

CC
Trevor Noah, host of The Daily Show, opens up to Oprah during their conversation at the Apollo Theater about why he is concerned about the breakdown of empathy in a deeply divided America, where the basic humanity of the opposition is often denied. To his own critics, many of whom take offense of his criticism of the current U.S. administration after first sharing his opinions during the run-up to the 2016 elections, he poses this question: "If your character shifts depending on who's in power, then was it your character to begin with?"

Tune in to Part 1 of Oprah at the Apollo on Tuesday, February 27, at 10/9c—only on OWN.
