The move from Los Angeles to New Orleans hasn't been easy on Micah. Not only did he experience a culture shock going from urban L.A. to the rural Deep South, but he's also uprooted his relationships, hobbies and education.

Now, his mother is looking to enroll him in a private school, a decision Aunt Violet objects to. With a well-regarded public school available to the boy, Violet doesn't understand why Charley wants to spend a fortune sending Micah to private schools just so he can be one of the "privileged kids."
