Episode 1: Love & Marriage star Destiny Payton Williams talks to host Tai Beauchamp about the challenges she's endured over the last several years. After surviving five miscarriages, all while keeping her successful salon business afloat, Destiny gave birth to her son during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic—and was served with divorce papers just three weeks later.

Destiny and Tai meditate on the incredible resilience of Black women—but also, our tendency to see ourselves as survivors, which makes us reluctant to lean on others during our darkest hour. They discuss the power of self-reflection in making peace with the past and moving forward with our lives.
