Prenatal and Postnatal Care Saves Lives

Cardiologist Garth Graham has treated countless patients with eclampsia, pre-eclampsia, cardiomyopathy and hypertension-related disorders in pregnancy. His own mother suffered high blood pressure during her pregnancy. "It's for that very reason," Graham says, "I advocate and ask that all of us remember, not just the challenges, but the things that we can and should do to potentially prevent some of those complications."
