In 2002, Oprah taped an episode about the inspiring stories of a few unlikely friendships. While she chatted with her audience after the show, Oprah's makeup artist of 16 years, Roosevelt, brought her a snack—so that the famished host could continue the conversation—which prompted Oprah to tell her own unlikely story about how Roosevelt landed his job.
