In 1996, award-winning actor and comedian Robin Williams opened up about the complexities of fame while keeping Oprah and her studio audience in stitches with his manic wit: "Fame is a bit like open-heart surgery with a spoon, really. It takes time. There's enjoyable moments, and there's other moments where you go, 'Oh, no.' Like, you know, people will come up to you. ... Somebody goes, 'Are you that guy from television?' 'Yeah.' 'You suck. Nice to meet you. Thanks!' 'You keep me regular.'"
