As the host of Nickelodeon's Double Dare, one of the sloppiest game shows in television history, Marc Summers smiled as he was painted with buckets and buckets of the show's trademark multicolored goop. Beneath the positive veneer, however, Marc was suffering from a painful secret.

Marc had obsessive-compulsive disorder. He spent hours a day meticulously arranging the items in his apartment, from the contents of a cupboard to the fringe on his rug. "I didn't find out [what I had] until I was hosting a talk show for Lifetime and we were doing a segment on OCD," Marc said. "That night, as I was doing my preparation, I got all choked up, and I said, 'My God, this is what I have.' I didn't know it had a name."

Watch the video above to find out how Marc's disorder affected his family and how he learned to keep it under control.
