In 2005, Michael stopped by The Oprah Winfrey Show with his pal Charles Barkley, and when asked how he may have influenced athlete pay, he had a surprising answer. Here, Michael explains why the high salaries and advertising deals offered to him and his elite peers were of a fundamentally different nature than those lavished on the latest crop of up-and-coming NBA stars.
