Michael Jordan on Fatherhood

Aired on 06/17/1991 | CC tv-pg
On the basketball court, Michael Jordan was a force to be reckoned with. The Chicago Bulls superstar led his team to six NBA championships. Like anyone else, of course, Michael had a home life too. When he stopped by The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1991, after earning his first ring, he was raising two kids: an infant, Marcus, and his firstborn, Jeffrey.

In this clip from his appearance, Michael discusses why being a good dad is so important to him—and how he manages to accomplish it while dominating the National Basketball Association.
