In 2004, iconic singer/songwriter Barry Manilow came on The Oprah Winfrey Show to surprise some of his biggest fans and perform his hit songs for the studio audience.

After the show, Oprah asked Barry, "What new singers do you think have 'it'?"

"Ever since Laverne & Shirley went off the air I don't listen to anything," he quipped.
