Avoiding the Dreaded "VPL"

CC | tv-pg
In 2004, the What Not to Wear girls, Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine, traveled over the pond from England straight to Harpo Studios in Chicago to offer their fashionable words of advice for the summer.

While doling out advice on how to go from frumpy to fabulous, the ladies had tips on how to avoid a massive fashion faux pas: the VPL, or visible panty line. Trinny, Susannah and Oprah agreed that to combat any case of VPL, all you need is a trusty pair of Spanx. Watch as they extoll the virtues of this must-have undergarment—and Susannah models hers!
