Iyanla to Women: We're "Creating the Penis Between Us"

During Iyanla's three-part mega-fix with Jay, the father of 34 children with 17 women, she got to know some of the mothers of his children. Now, Iyanla sits down with four of these women—Aisha, Chantau, Charmaine and Ayanna—for a healing conversation that all women need to hear.

"We as women [are] surrendering our power and creating the penis between us," Iyanla says. "I mean a penis between us as women, friends. ... A penis between us, between us and our dignity."

Iyanla says many women settle for men who can't even meet basic criteria, and then, some bring children into these kinds of relationships. Watch as Iyanla helps audience members release their shame and guilt by addressing why they allowed these men into their lives in the first place.
