Iyanla Shuts Down Filming for Crossing the Line into "Exploitation"

Iyanla doesn't shy away from telling the difficult truths that her guests need to hear, and she certainly knows how to hold her own when situations get heated. But even Iyanla knows that it's time to walk away when the healing process morphs into something unproductive. Such is the case with Neffe and Soullow.

"I will not, in the name of entertainment, put my name on this level of exploitation," Iyanla declares to Neffe, her voice breaking. "A black woman in front of the world, cussing at the top of your lungs at a black man. And you got five children. No! You don't get to do it in my presence!"

As Iyanla rails against her behavior, Neffe sits in sorrowful silence. Finally, having said what she must, and before walking off set in disgust, Iyanla says, "When you're ready and you're willing to hear and receive, you let me know."
