Updates from the House of Healing Women, 4 Months Later

Four months after the women from Iyanla's House of Healing returned to their lives, they check back in with an update on their work to shed the false label of "angry black woman."

In the video above, Chrystale opens up about her completely new perspective on her estranged mother. Jaimeka shares joyful news. Drea explains how she's become a better mother. Gloria reveals her biggest takeaway from the experience. Alana discusses her new philosophy toward people who annoy her. Lita and Rita share how they've been doing the work in their own lives lately—and Lita endures a little teasing from her twin when she reveals that she's still in contact with House of Healing visitor Koro.

Lira ignored requests for a follow-up interview, but this isn't quite the end of her story. Lira's father will be joining other men in the House of Healing later this season. The first part of that multipart episode will air Saturday, October 29.
