Julius Tells Eddie to Kill Claudia: "It's Your Life for Hers"

Julius pays his enemy Eddie an unexpected visit and makes a request that Eddie would be foolhardy to refuse. With a pistol aimed at the corrupt cop's chest, Julius says, "I have a favor to ask."

Julius produces a photo of Esperanza and Claudia at the precinct. "You know that girl?" Julius says, indicating the latter woman. "I need her dead."

Julius is prepared to let Eddie live if he eliminates Claudia, but Eddie wants to know why he wants her dead in the first place.

"You don't get to ask questions. I just gave you your life," Julius says.

There's one more thing that might complicate the situation for trigger-happy Eddie: Claudia's death needs to appear to be an accident.

Eddie is confused. "So you tell me that girl's life is worth more to you than me."

"Honestly, I could give a rat's ass about your life, but what this is worth to me is unimaginable to you," Julius tells Eddie. "Now, you can take the deal, or we can kill you."

Eddie agrees, but even though he's not in a position to negotiate, he asks for something in return: the gangster Quan.
