Materials

(4) Pillows (2 large, 2 medium horizontal)

(4) Felt pillow covers

Blue fabric

Hemp rope

(2) Packs of stencil lettering

Pack of pins

Pen

Pencil

Scissors

Fabric glue
Take the horizontal felt pillow cover and use the chalk to write out whichever personalized word you choose. Use a piece of the hemp rope as a writing line in order to keep the words straight.

Carefully trace over the chalk letters with the fabric glue.

Immediately after applying the fabric glue, run the hemp rope over the glue letters until every letter is covered by the hemp rope. Use pins to hold the rope in place while they dry. Set aside to dry for 30-40 minutes. Repeat steps 1-3 on the second horizontal pillow case.

Next, take the blue fabric and lay out the stencil letters on top, spelling out whichever word you desire. Outline the words on the fabric with a pen.

Cut out each letter with scissors.

Add one bead of fabric glue to the back of the cut out letters and attach to the large pillow case. Repeat steps 4-6 for the second large pillow case and set aside to dry for 30-40 minutes.

Once the letters have dried on all four pillow cases, put the pillows inside the cases.
