Zora Packs Her Bags
Season 3 Episode 307
Aired on 10/10/2018
Lady Mae goes to Zora's room in hopes that she will agree to take over the Little Saints while Sophia is recovering. However, she is met by a preoccupied Zora, who is emptying her closet. Lady Mae tries to have a conversation with Zora about filling in for Sophia, and though Zora declines, Lady Mae persists. "Zora, I think it's come to a point now where taking care of the souls of others will give you a deeper sense of value of your own," Lady Mae tells her. "Do you not agree?"
Zora ignores her and continues to pack, but Lady Mae continues to try. "Well, I know how it feels to be young. Oh, you feel like you have all the time in the world to try things out, make mistakes," she says before grabbing Zora's hand. "But, Zora, I can tell you from experience that the moment to be your best self is right now."
"I don't want to do it, Grandma," Zora says. "And even if I did, I can't."
Confused, Lady Mae replies, "Why not, Zora?"
"I'm 18 now. I'm leaving," Zora tells her before zipping up her suitcase.
As Zora wheels her bag out the door, a shocked Lady Mae calls after her, to no avail.
