Mavis Says Her Piece

Ever since her blues club was shut down, Mavis McCready has been struggling. She's drinking more, dabbling in pills and living with a guitar player named Alonzo. One night, after the bishop brings Mavis home from a bar, he accuses Alonzo of causing Mavis' downward spiral.

That sets Mavis off. The next day, she storms into the Greenleaf mansion ready for a fight. She takes the bishop to task for meddling in her relationship with Alonzo, and accuses Lady Mae of knowing all along that Mac was sexually abusing Faith. Watch as Mavis says her piece before hitting the road for St. Louis to catch Alonzo at his next gig and make things right.
