Lady Mae Fires Calvary's Gay Music Director

Carlton Cruise, the music director at Calvary Fellowship World Ministries, is gay. The Greenleaf family, who run the Memphis mega-church, knew as much and were seemingly fine with that fact when they hired Carlton to head the music department. However, when Carlton married his partner, Reggie, the Greenleafs' tune began to change. Donations, the church's lifeblood, began to dry up, and the deacon board started side-eying Carlton and Reggie. Here, Lady Mae fires Carlton—but not before he has a chance to say his piece.
