James to Rochelle: "I'll Never Doubt You Again"

Rochelle pays a visit to the bishop in his office, and right away she can tell that something is weighing on his mind. She asks him whether something is wrong with the investments, but the bishop presents her with an unexpected question: "What are you doing in my life?"

Perplexed, Rochelle says, "What do you think I'm doing?"

James explains that he thought he knew but that now he isn't entirely sure. "You say you love me," he tells her. "Is that true?"

"Why would I say it if I didn't mean it?" Rochelle says sharply.

However, it seems too good to be true for the bishop. "Look at me. Look at me," he says, holding his hands out to Rochelle. "I'm an old man. My hands shake. My body is not what it used to be, and it never will be again. Now, in a city full of young studs to choose from, what do you want with me?"

Rochelle takes a moment before answering, anger contorting her face. "Do you think I'm using you or something?"

"I don't know," the bishop replies.

"To what? Help out with my lack of heartache? Or my lack of headache?"

Rochelle then orders the bishop to take out his phone and view his accounts. James is stunned by what he sees. "Now, who's using who, hm?" Rochelle says, turning the tables.

As the bishop marvels over his impressive early profits, Rochelle continues. "You're making money already. But what I got? No man, no ring, nothing. Are you using me? Because that's what it seems like."

James tries to apologize, assuring Rochelle that he's not using her, but Rochelle is fed up. As she grabs her handbag and prepares to leave, the bishop grabs hold of her hand and begs her not to go. "I'll never doubt you again," he tells her.
