Dr. Woods-Trap Sees Through David's Attempt to Gain Sympathy

David and Seren attend an informational meeting about Hurston Prep, overseen by Dr. Woods-Trap. When Seren receives more attention, David makes a comment to steal the spotlight. David then intentionally gains sympathy by sharing more of his personal story. David's ears begin to ring when he locks eyes with Dr. Woods-Trap, who is aware of his intentions.
