The Big Lesson Tichina Arnold Learned About Single Motherhood

For years, actress Tichina Arnold had been told that her endometriosis made it extremely difficult to ever have a child, so when she became pregnant in 2003, she was shocked. Being a single mother in show business has had its challenges, but Tichina says that the experience has also opened her eyes to one big lesson about parenthood.

"The number one thing that I learned was to ask for help," she says. "It's almost impossible to be a mother by yourself. It's almost impossible to do alone."
