Wear clothes that are your true size.

Clothes that are too big can actually make you look larger and sloppy. Clothes that are too small can make you look uncomfortable and trust me, no one wants to see your undergarments.

Next up: Incorporating Color.
Bright Birds

Incorporate a pop of color!

Black is great, but make sure you add a pop of color into every outfit. Color will cheer you up and make you stand out.

Next up: To Trend, or Not to Trend?
Woman shopping

Trend thoughtfully!

Every trend is not made for every body. Make sure the clothes you choose compliment your curves and accentuate the positives.

Next Up: The Importance of Undergarments.

Don't underestimate your undergarments!

Undergarments are so important for women with curves. Do not skimp on them. Invest in a high-quality, supportive bra that will do your girls justice. Also, a smoother bra will make any outfit look better.

Next Up: Lingerie.
Lingerie

Say "Yes" to lingerie.

Say yes to lingerie. You will love yourself in it, and so will your partner. Just because you're full size doesn't mean you shouldn't wear lace and satin. Sexiness is found in all sizes, so slip into bed with a nighty, not a tee shirt.

Next Up: Accessorize!
accessories

Accessories make the outfit.

Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! Accessories make an outfit, so make sure you splurge on them. Jewelry, scarves, purses and -- my favorite -- shoes! Shoes can make an outfit too. Choose a bold look and you'll be sure to make a statement.

New hair, new you!

A woman's hair is her glory, so make sure you take care of it. Find a great stylist and choose a look that compliments your bone structure. Play with color, curls and ponytails. If you're in a rut, a new hair style can be a great pick me up.

Next Up: Makeup Basics

Wear the right makeup.

Your face is the first thing a person notices, at least it will be if you wear the right makeup! After a certain age makeup shouldn't be optional. You don't have to have a full face on daily, but please do put on eye shadow, mascara and lip gloss.

Make sure to tune in to Beverly's Full House on OWN, Saturday's at 10/9c!
