In 1983, Anthony Michael Hall's career took off when he caught the attention of filmmaker John Hughes as Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon's Vacation. After being cast as a geeky high schooler in Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science, Anthony Michael became known as "the brain" of the Brat Pack.

Not to be typecast, Anthony Michael made a comeback in 2002 with the lead role on the TV series The Dead Zone on USA Network. Then, in 2008, Anthony landed a role in the highest-grossing film of the year, The Dark Knight.
