After
winning the chance to go along on Oprah's Ultimate Australian Adventure, Michelle Bryan and her husband, LeWayne, fly to Perth, Australia,
for a couple's vacation. Perth is the capital and largest city in the Western Australia region with a population of about 1.7 million. This was Michelle and LeWayne's first stop on their Western Australian adventure.
Chef Chris Taylor of Fraser's Restaurant whips up a private lunch for the couple. LeWayne and Michelle enjoy fresh shrimp, lobster and vegetarian fare. The view from Fraser's Restaurant places Perth's Kings Park right at your fingertips.
Kings Park has a beautiful botanic garden filled with unique and exotic flowers and plants. Western Australia is home to half of Australia's 25,000 plant species, many of which can only be found here.
While watching the spectacular sunset at Cottesloe Beach, Michelle and LeWayne dine on salads, and fish and chips.
On day two of their Western Australian excursion, Michelle and LeWayne take a boat to Rottnest Island, where they glide across the blue waters.
They also go snorkeling in Rottnest Island's crystal-clear water.

After just four days in Western Australia, it's time for Michelle and LeWayne to head to Sydney. Before they leave, they take a photo with their new Aussie friends: Michelle from the Intercontinental Burswood; Murray from Tourism Western Australia; Dan, the couple's chauffeur; and Kim from Tourism Australia. "Friends from Perth we will cherish forever," Michelle says.
