Marilyn Monroe's Iconic White Dress
Stage and screen star Debbie Reynolds is a passionate movie buff and the keeper of an enormous Hollywood memorabilia collection worth millions. "I bought them at ... different auctions, private sales," she says. "People would pass away and they knew I collected and they'd leave me the collection."

In June 2011, Debbie's collection will go up for sale by the Profiles in History auction house. One of the iconic pieces Debbie plans to sell is the white dress Marilyn Monroe wore in The Seven Year Itch. "It's turned an ecru color because it's very, very old as you know by now," she says.

Also on the auction block are two costume pieces from Cleopatra—the headdress Elizabeth Taylor wore and Richard Burton's Mark Antony costume. "She rode into Rome with this costume on, with that headdress," Debbie says. "And Richard had this on."

Debbie also plans to auction pieces from the classic film The Sound of Music. Julie Andrews' peasant dress and guitar will be eligible for purchase, along with some outfits the children in the movie wore. "I had Julie sign [the guitar]," Debbie says. "Which was very sweet of her to do."
