What is standing in the way of feeling joyful? What one thing can you do that will bring you some measure of happiness—even if obstacles exist?

What joyful thing do you wish you could experience? What's stopping you? List three ways you might overcome the obstacles. Ask friends to help you think outside your blind spots.

Write down ten things you could do with very little effort, today, that would bring joy to someone else. Do at least five of them.

Watch an animal when it's feeling happy—if you don't have a pet, find one on YouTube. Imagine being that animal, and see if you can feel the simple joy in your own body.
