Follow in Oprah's footsteps! Once you land in Phoenix, you’ll head to the charming Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel. On day one, you’ll begin your expedition at Bearizona Wildlife Park, where you can see bison, black bears, and more in their natural habitat. On day two, you’ll board a luxury parlor car of the northbound Grand Canyon Railway Train (think Orient Express for the Old West) and head for the cozy Maswik Lodge, where you’ll spend the next two nights—plenty of time to go on a motor coach tour, ride a mule, and feast on the famous salmon tostada at El Tovar. To see the canyon’s rim, choose one of four incredible tours; we’re partial to the stunning views at sunrise. Later you’ll wine and dine at the Arizona Room, which features local artisan brews. On the final day, you’ll take a breathtaking chopper ride, then hop on the southbound train(in the luxury dome car) to return to the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel for one last delectable dinner and a restful night’s sleep.
