One definition doesn't do it justice—because real power, like most things multifaceted and complex, is best viewed from many perspectives. Look at it this way, and it's innate. Look at it that way, and it's learned. Over here, it's all about the body. Over there, it's a state of mind. It can be stealthy and quiet. Or vivacious and loud. Transgressive or inclusive. In fact, power can be so many things that we're holding it up to the light, the better to see them all.
