Boxed pudding mix, fresh bananas and vanilla wafers come together for an elegant and satisfying dessert.
1 package instant banana cream pudding mix
Milk (measurement requirements on pudding box)
2 bananas, ripe, mashed
1 cup whipped cream
1/2 cup vanilla wafers, crumbled
3 tablespoons brown sugar
6-12 vanilla wafers, whole
1 banana, sliced thinly
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine pudding mix, milk and mashed bananas with an electric mixer until smooth.
Fold whipped cream into the mixture with a spatula, then place the bowl in the refrigerator to chill for two hours.
In a small bowl, mix vanilla wafer crumbles and brown sugar.
Place two banana slices and two whole vanilla wafers in the bottom of each small serving dish, spoon chilled pudding on top, then garnish with the crumbled mixture.
