Boston Red Sox fan Ben Affleck

Fenway Park
A true Boston Red Sox fan, Ben Affleck started his hometown tour off with a trip to Fenway Park. Ben says, "It's been a little while since we've won the championship, that was in 1918, but we still have some spirit.

"There's still always something kind of special for me about coming back here to this baseball field. It reminds me of watching baseball games with my father when I was six years old. About a mile from here is where I grew up, back when bleacher seats were $3.50."
Ben Affleck loves the burgers at Leo's Place.

Leo's Place
Next up on Ben Affleck's tour of Boston is what he considers the home of the greatest cheeseburger in America—Leo's Place. He's been coming here since he was 12 years old!

"If you go all over the United States of America, you can travel far and wide and there's many, many hamburgers you could get, but none would be so good as the one you can get right here at Leo's Place," promises Ben. "I come here every time I come home for the food because they make me feel comfortable. They make me feel at home. They're comforting and welcoming and warm men and they cook good food.

"Oprah, next time you're in town, I'll buy you a burger. Don't' worry about it—it's on 'the plan.'"

Flipping Burgers at Leo's
Although he can eat Leo's burgers like a pro, Ben Affleck would make a horrible short order cook! "This is what my mother feared I would end up doing when I told her I wanted to be an actor."

Nomad
Finally, Ben took us to his favorite place to buy one-of-a-kind gifts, Nomad, specializing in folk art from Mexico, Indonesia, South America, and Africa.

"The great thing about it is that you can get last minute Christmas gifts for people and say, 'Oh, I was traveling in Teotitlan and I saw this little thing and I thought it was just perfect for you!'" Ben jokes. "One thing I know for sure is that no one else is going to get somebody this for Christmas. It's not like you're going to get this for somebody as a birthday present, and they're going to go, 'Oh boy, I already have one.'"
